Presentation Formats

All paper and poster presentations will be online. Presentations need to be uploaded to the conference app Whova in advance by the presenting author so that conference attendees can view presentations ahead of time.

Scheduled paper sessions are limited to 30 minutes and are NOT for presenting individual papers but for discussing presenters' work.

Posters will be accessible to attendees in advance of and throughout the conference but will not be accompanied by scheduled discussion sessions. Conference attendees will be encouraged to contact poster presenters via the Whova conference app should they have any questions or wish to initiate a discussion at any time during the conference.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please upload your paper or poster presentation well ahead of time to give conference attendees the opportunity to view it. All presentations should be uploaded at the latest one week before the conference begins, that is by Oct 21, 2020.

When preparing your presentation keep the following points in mind (for technical guidelines how to produce pre-recorded presentations and how to upload them to the Whova conference app please download the attached document below).

Paper presentation

One single .mp4 file (max. file size 200 MB). The file contains your presentation as a slide show with audio or video of you as presenter. You must limit yourself to a 20 minutes presentation.

Poster

One single .pdf file that is formatted similar to a typical poster (max. file size 10 MB).

Additionally, poster presenters have the option to upload a short video (.mp4 format) of max. 4-5 minutes to "walk" the audience through their poster. This video may include an animated version of your poster.
